Cookie Policy

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies such as browser session storage. Together, these help the site work properly — keeping you signed in, remembering your cart, and understanding how the site is used so we can improve it.

2. Cookies and storage we use

Allen's uses a small, focused set of cookies and storage:

  • Session cookie (essential) — set when you sign in. It keeps you securely signed in to your account so you can place orders, view order history, and write reviews. It is removed when you sign out.
  • Cart storage (essential)— your shopping cart is kept in your browser's session storage while you browse as a guest, and synced to your account when you sign in. It is cleared when you close your browser.
  • Cookie notice preference (functional)— remembers that you have seen and accepted this cookie notice so we don't show it on every visit.
  • Analytics (performance) — we use Vercel Analytics to understand overall site usage (page views and performance). It is privacy-friendly and does not use cookies to track you across other websites or build advertising profiles.

3. What we don't do

  • We do not use advertising or third-party marketing cookies.
  • We do not sell data collected through cookies to anyone.
  • We do not track you across other websites.

4. Managing cookies

Essential cookies cannot be switched off — without them, signing in and checkout would not work. You can clear or block cookies at any time in your browser settings, but you may need to sign in again and your guest cart may be emptied.
